Fowey Christmas Market

It’s never too early for hot chocolates, mince pies and a mooch around the markets. Fowey Christmas Market is the first to kick off the festive season, taking place on 14th-16th November. Wander the boutique-lined streets, soak up the harbour views and discover endless riverside eateries.


Skate by the sea at Watergate Bay

Watergate Bay is blending beachside bliss with ice rink excitement, creating Cornwall’s first-ever ice rink by the sea. Open daily from 17th November-11th January, this promises to be one of Cornwall’s most magical festive experiences, perfect for all the family. After skating, head up to The Living Space to warm up with a glass of mulled wine and take in the spectacular views over Watergate Bay.

Christmas Artisan Fair at Pencarrow

On 22nd-23rd November, Pencarrow House & Gardens will host their annual Artisan Christmas Fair. Calling all creatives! If you’re staying in Cornwall that week, why not sprinkle a touch of festivity into your Cornish home? St Kew Farmshop is hosting a wreath-making workshop on 3rd December. Hawksfield late-night shopping

On 28th November, Hawksfield will be brimming with festive cheer as their Christmas late-night shopping returns from 5–9pm. Enjoy the sounds of traditional carols performed by the Wadebridge Town Band, indulge in seasonal food and drink and browse a wonderful selection of artisan makers and independent shops, the perfect place to find thoughtful gifts.

Cornwall Christmas Market

The Royal Cornwall Showground will host Cornwall’s largest Christmas market from 12th-14th December. Expect an incredible line-up of local pop-ups, festive entertainment and reindeer visits, with the chance to meet Father Christmas himself - making it a truly magical day out for little ones.

Padstow Christmas Fayre

Hop on the ferry over to sparkling Padstow, where the harbour shimmers with the glow of festive lights. The Padstow Christmas Fayre, taking place from 4th-7th December, promises everything from chef demonstrations and lantern parades to carol singing in cosy pubs. Take your time mooching around the shops, and don’t forget to pop into the local makers’ market to top up on those final Christmas gifts.

Polzeath Christmas day swim

We can’t forget one of the most beloved local traditions... the Polzeath Christmas Day Swim! Starting at 11am, the golden sands come alive with Christmas hats, laughter and the brave souls ready for a festive dip before dashing back into their big coats. Pack a flask of Baileys hot chocolate to warm up afterwards, or, if you’d rather stay dry, enjoy the spectacle from a cosy seat at The Atlantic, watching the sea of Santa hats from above.
