Baby Bay feast nights

There’s something special about Baby Bay in the evening. As the tide draws back and the sky turns golden, a long table is set on the sand and slowly, the beach begins to fill. Cocktails in hand, barefoot guests gather for an unforgettable evening of food, fire and sea air.

This summer, Porthilly Spirit are hosting a series of long-table feasts on the beach at Polzeath. Each one brings a different chef, a new menu and the same easy magic that makes these evenings such a highlight of the season.

Coming up

Next up is Feast No.3 on Saturday 19th July, when local favourites Four Boys (the Rock based restaurant run by Fee Turner’s sons) take to the shore. Known for their ingredient-led cooking and flame-grilled flavours, they’ll be serving everything from raw oysters to Cornish lamb shoulder. All with a welcome cocktail and the sound of the sea as your soundtrack.

Can’t make it?

Two more feast nights are planned for 16th and 30th August, with full menus and details landing soon. You can find the latest updates and tickets on Porthilly Spirit’s website.

It’s not just the evenings worth knowing about

By day, Baby Bay becomes home to the Baby Bay Beach Club, a new pop-up lunch spot from Porthilly Spirit x Plonk’d. It’s a low-key, high-flavour hangout serving fire-cooked tapas and small plates from 12 - 3pm every weekend. With just eight tables on the sand and a hand-picked list of wines, cocktails and local beers - it’s the hottest new place to be.
