It has been eight years since we were treated to a proper snow day in Cornwall, so we couldn't help but get a little excited.
For those that didn't get to experience the magical white dusting that settled across beaches, coast paths and rooftops, here are some of our favourite photos of our North Cornwall snow day.

Whatever our age, we all can't help but get a little giddy on a snow day!
The sand across Polzeath beach was transformed to white and was enjoyed by a few lucky dog walkers

With tranquil waters on a high tide, Rock was transformed into a magical winter wonderland

After all the excitement it was time to dust off our boots and head inside to warm up in front of the fire with a nice cup of tea!
