As summer’s glow softens and the first hints of autumn drift across the coastline, Cornwall takes on a quieter, more contemplative beauty. Golden light spills across empty sands, the sea grows wilder, and evenings invite you to reflect and restore. It’s in this season of change that local teacher Tina Jeffery is inviting guests to pause and reconnect through a series of coastal retreats.
Rooted in the rhythms of nature, Tina’s wellness gatherings combine yoga, nourishing food, coastal walks and invigorating sea dips. They are an opportunity to slow down and mark the passing of the seasons in a place where the sea and sky meet in endless conversation. Discover her latest retreats below.
Autumn Equinox day retreat
When: Sunday 21 September 2025 | 8am–5pm
The details: To honour the turning of the year, Tina is hosting a one-day retreat at the beautifully calming Highcliffe in Polzeath. The day will weave together yoga practices themed around transition and gratitude, gentle walks, bracing sea dips and time in the sauna. Between sessions, guests will gather on the beach to share nourishing seasonal feasts from Sarah at Cook Cornwall. A gentle day designed to reset, reflect and welcome the balance of the equinox.
Three-night wellness retreats at Greenaway Reach
When: 7-10 November 2025 and 16-19 January 2026
The details: With panoramic sea views and a private gate leading straight down to Greenaway Beach, Greenaway Reach is the perfect retreat setting. Across the weekend, guests will enjoy daily yoga, coastal walks along windswept paths, restorative sauna sessions, and the comfort of wholesome food from Katie at The Kitchen Journal. Both retreats are designed to nourish body and mind through the depth of autumn and the stillness of winter.
Weekly classes and private sessions
For those who can’t join a retreat, Tina also runs weekly classes at Highcliffe every Wednesday and Thursday, open to all levels. She can even bring her practice to you with private sessions in your holiday home - perfect for greeting the day with a sunrise flow or unwinding after a salt-sprayed afternoon on the coast path.
