Perched above the Camel Estuary, Kate Cottage offers uninterrupted views down the river, where water and sky meet in a tranquil, ever-changing panorama. From the soft, inviting sitting room to each of the three restful bedrooms, the gentle flow of the estuary creates a calming backdrop to your stay. Mornings begin slowly on the terrace with coffee in hand, while evenings invite you to watch the shifting light dance across the water’s surface.
Inside, the interiors are soft and sophisticated, with a palette of coastal blues, chalky whites and natural textures creating a gentle sense of ease. The kitchen is light-filled and well appointed, with Bifold doors that open onto the terrace. The perfect setting for al fresco lunches or dinner as the sky blushes pink. On cooler days, retreat to the deep sofas beside the log burner and let the warmth wrap around you.
Upstairs, three beautiful bedrooms offer a sanctuary at the end of the day. The master is calm and cocooning, with thick carpet underfoot and an outlook that captures the estuary’s peaceful rhythm. The twin is modern and bright, while the third bedroom offers flexibility for families, with a single bed and hidden truckle tucked neatly beneath.
Outside, the terrace opens out to a large, sloping lawn that leads all the way to the water’s edge. A wooden bench at the bottom is perfectly placed for slow afternoons, quiet books and long gazes across the estuary. As part of the Cant Farm estate, guests also have access to tennis courts, winding paths through private woodland and fields, and all the space and freedom that comes with this secluded riverside setting.
For larger groups and wedding parties, Kate Cottage can be rented in conjunction with the neighbouring properties Badger Cottage, The Orchard, The Farmhouse and The Woodshed.

- Bedroom one (master) has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobe, and an en-suite with a shower, hand basin, and WC.
- Bedroom two is a twin room with a fitted wardrobe.
- Bedroom three is a single room with a truckle bed beneath the single bed (suitable for one additional child if needed) and a fitted wardrobe.

- Well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, full-height fridge-freezer, wine fridge, plate warmer, Nutribullet, Quooker tap, toaster, Nespresso Krups coffee machine and milk frother (please bring Nespresso original capsules).
- Smart TV, DVD player/recorder, board games, and books.
- Log burner (logs provided).

Accessibility
Parking is on hard standing just outside the cottage. A few steps lead down to the path and front door. Inside, all social spaces and a WC are on the ground floor, with the bedrooms upstairs.
